Our Health Coaching Story
When I was a teenager, a formative event set me on a path that led to many positive outcomes, and a few that, if left unchecked, could have easily shortened my life by decades.
At 265kgs, with undiagnosed type 2 diabetes, unable to walk to the mailbox, and grappling with rampant mental health issues, I found myself in intensive care fighting for my life.
This pivotal moment put me on a new path, one that would ultimately address my mental health, reverse type 2 diabetes, result in 8 (and counting) Round the Bays participation medals, create memories of a glorious day on the Tongariro crossing, and lead to losing 150kgs.
To achieve this, I had to seek professional help, practice radical honesty, and make sustainable changes that experts highlighted. It wasn't easy, but four years later, I am here, I am happy, and I can help you do it too— with less uncertainty, greater ease, and without having to hit the wall of a frightening medical event.
I have worked hard to become a Health Coach, bringing together my knowledge and skills with science and proven techniques to offer you a lasting solution. My aim is to help you achieve your goals, reach the summit of your Mount Everest, and speed away into a future of your making.
